The Altai Krai court has set a date for considering appellate complaints in the case of Vitaly Manishin, the Politekhovsky maniac. The hearing will take place on February 19 at 13:00, but it will be completely closed to outsiders, as reported by the United Press Service of the Courts of Altai Krai.

Recall that on October 1, former deputy head of the district administration Vitaly Manishin was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment. He was found guilty of a series of murders committed in the early 2000s. The first seven years Vitaly must spend in prison, the rest in a correctional colony.

However, after the court«s verdict, two appeals were filed, one from the lawyer of the convicted himself, the second from the victim. The hearing of the case will be held in closed session.
