A resident of the Novosibirsk region had to pay over a million rubles (approximately $11,100 at current rates) to keep his car. This was reported on January 30 by the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) for the region.

According to the department, a resident of the Maslyaninsky district owed credit organizations 965,000 rubles (approximately $10,700 at current rates), and the delay under the contract exceeded 70,000 rubles (about $780). The bank presented the bailiffs with a writ of execution, meaning the man could lose his car.

«To avoid losing his Nissan Murano, the man paid the principal debt and interest. However, since the deadline for voluntary compliance had already expired, he also had to pay an enforcement fee of 62,000 rubles (approximately $690) to the budget,» clarified the FSSP.

All restrictions were lifted from the debtor after the debt was repaid.

Recall that earlier, a 26-year-old Siberian woman paid 660,000 rubles (approximately $7,300 at current rates) for compensation for emergency housing.
