Year Starts with Kindness: Two Stray Cats in Arkhangelsk Find Families

Before the New Year, we wrote about cats who were left without families and really wanted to find loving owners willing to take the pets home. And a miracle happened: two handsome fellows are now living their best cat lives.

‘After the announcement about finding a home for my charges on your site, owners were found for Matroskin and Persik almost immediately. And within a couple of days, our guys ended up in their loving families,’ said Anastasia, a curator who helps find homes for ownerless animals.

According to Anastasia, the first family, Maria«s, who went to meet the cats, didn»t know which one they would take. They decided to choose with their heart. And at the same time, the second family, Svetlana«s, wanted to give a home to Persik.

‘A real miracle happened, and the first family immediately fell in love with Matroskin, while Persik went to a home where he was specifically waited for. I am very grateful to your team for the help and for fulfilling the most important wish for the New Year,’ Anastasia shared her emotions.

Puppies rescued by volunteer Tatyana Nikulina from Arkhangelsk are also waiting for a miracle. The little ones, once freezing on the street, really need a home and caring hands.
